July 22, 2016 THE CHELTEN JAM -  7 - 10 PM at Calvary Presbyterian Church, Bent & Fernbrook Rds in Wyncote. All area musicians are welcome to join us.  Musician's choice.  Listeners welcome to come sing along, too.  We  encourage familiar tunes or ones you can teach everyone a participation part so as to have an on-going jam rather than a "performance night".
Gladly taking suggestions to see if members would like to make every other Jam Night  a "performance" night - or have a "performance round" during the evening.  Or if part of the evening might be an open, free-wheeling jam rather than circle format.  Full group participation as much as possible has been our goal, so we have encouraged songs everyone knows - but most musicians are working on their latest oeuvre and glad to have a place to show it off .   Please share your ideas and we'll see which way the majority is leaning….      A drink or a small snack to share is welcomed - not required.  A dollar or two donation to thank the church for the space is also welcomed.

The garden was designed by the owner and the team and was created using the no-till method of sheet mulching. We all had the benefit of sharing knowledge, ideas, work and fun! This activity was paired with a pre-event tour of a suburban edible landscape in Elkins Park.
